Ethnic Conflict

The idea of this essay is to describe the different reasons or aspects that generate this problem. Its important to start explaining why it happens, because everything has a beguining with no exception. Once the reasons are mentioned its easier for the reader to form a a solid idea of what it is and why it happens.

Throughout history man has proven himself to manifest a threatening nature with confronted by difference. Difference with regards to anything that causes him to feel outside his comfort zone. Just as a wild animal is more aggressive when any man, animal or thing threatens to alter his environment.

From this very nature, man has joined with others like him, to gain in numbers and fend anything that is different. Each group formed is an ethnicity. When these groups are in opposition over anything is called ethnic conflict. These conflicts can originate from territorial possession, intermarriages, religious differences or any other situation that makes a person feel uncomfortable, in danger or unprotected it is a basic instinct of survival.

Great examples of these ethnic conflicts can be mentioned next the arab-jew conflict, Muslims persecuting Christians, minorities emigrating to other countries or racist. These conflicts have proven on many occasions to lead to death this undistruction without solving or improving their situations.

From ethnic conflicts, we can conclude that man will never change this unfortunate circumstance unless he learns to better deal with the many differences life, through people and ideals, presents him throughout his existence. Lets open our minds to the many differences we will face in our lifetime.
